Welcome to VCI Institute. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of VCI Institute's website, located at www.vciinstitute.com.

By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use VCI Institute if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, VCI Institute and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on VCI Institute. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from VCI Institute for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

• Republish material from VCI Institute
• Sell, rent, or sub-license material from VCI Institute
• Reproduce, duplicate, or copy material from VCI Institute
• Redistribute content from VCI Institute

2. Refund Policy

VCI Institute offers a one-week (7 days) refund policy from the date of purchase. To request a refund, please contact our support team within this period. Refunds will not be issued beyond this 7-day window.

3. Course Access

Some courses provided by VCI Institute have a limited access time. Typically, access time is double the period of the drip schedule. For example:

• If the drip schedule is over 170 days, access is granted for one year.
• If the drip schedule is for 4 weeks, access is granted for 2 months.

4. Course Content Updates

VCI Institute reserves the right to update and augment course content during delivery. This ensures that all information remains current and relevant.

5. Webinars

Webinars are provided on selected dates depending on availability and membership levels. As courses are evergreen, meaning they are not bound by a specific start date, different users may study the same course at different times. We appreciate your patience in waiting for the next available webinar session.

6. Non-Profit Status

VCI Institute operates as a non-profit organization. While we strive to keep costs minimal, we incur various expenses including staff salaries, operational costs, and other related expenditures.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that province or location.

8. User Accounts

To access certain features of the site, you may be required to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information updated. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure.

9. Limitations of Liability

VCI Institute will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the service; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from our services; (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our services by any third party; (v) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the services; and/or (vi) the defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of any third party.

10. Academic Integrity

VCI Institute takes academic integrity very seriously. In cases of suspected fraud or cheating, particularly for certification courses, VCI Institute reserves the right to drop a student from the course without refund. Students are prohibited from sharing course content online, especially exam content.

11. Legal Waiver

Students agree not to sue or file cases against VCI Institute. By using our services, students acknowledge that VCI Institute is in an early stage and agree to be patient as our systems scale up.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VCI Institute, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from:

• Your use of and access to the service, including any data or content transmitted or received by you;
• Your violation of any term of these Terms;
• Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any right of privacy or intellectual property rights;
• Your violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation;
• Any claim or damages that arise as a result of any of your User Content or any that is submitted via your account;
• Any other party’s access and use of the Service with your unique username, password, or other appropriate security code.

13. Changes to Terms

VCI Institute reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
